The waiter was very nice and service was prompt. We were greeted with menus and special of the day. We quickly placed our orders and out came complimentary small bread plate! There were 3 types of bread, one was a banana nut bread, one was regular sour dough, the other one was a dry fruit bread. I liked the fruity one best! I liked it so much we asked for a second serving...

For appetizer, we ordered the special soup of the day to share. It was a vegetable chowder. It was good but somewhat average, nothing too surprising here.

For the main courses. I picked the pork chop and of course he ordered the New York strip steak. Both dishes were good! The pork chop was the best I've had in a while (since Bear Creek 2010). It was grilled with perfect grill marks and pink center was just cooked right.

His New York strip steak was excellent. It was cooked medium rare just as ordered, and accompanied by delicious home made steak sauce. It reminded me of the steak in the movie 'The Matrix'. "I don't want to remember anything" as he was chewing the big juicy piece of steak. Maybe I should take the blue pill if offered....? Back to the food....the potato fixture that came with the steak was a little bit on the salty side though, I ate one and left the other, just a word of warning.
