SweetGreen, Bethesda MD

We've been to SweetGreen for frozen yogurt before but never tried their salad.  We finally got to try the salad this past Saturday, it was pretty good!  Everything was organic and made fresh, even the utensils are made from organic materials, made my conscious happy.

I ordered the Derby Cobb salad, it was pretty pricey, $11 for the salad.  It was loaded with goodness though, chopped romaine with roasted chicken, blue cheese, egg, bacon, avocado, grape tomatoes; topped with a honey Dijon vinaigrette.  It was yummy!  Needless to say, we finished this one together.

Caesar reggiano salad, on the other hand, was mere ordinary.  It had chopped romaine with roasted chicken, shaved parmigiano reggiano, croutons, toasted parmesan crisp; topped with an organic Caesar dressing.  It was nothing extraordinary but it was not bad either.  It was, simply a Caesar salad...

Both salads were on the pricey side, but they were both freshly tossed and tasted pretty good.  I think I might visit again for the salad and frozen yogurt soon, if budget allows...
